Job Summary
Board-certified paediatric cardiac surgeon to perform complex paediatric cardiac surgeries (including open-heart procedures and valve repairs) for infants to adolescents, with pre- and post-operative ICU care, collaboration with paediatric cardiology/anesthesiology/intensivists, on-call coverage, supervision of junior staff, and active participation in research, audits, and quality improvement; role includes documentation and academic contributions in a Saudi healthcare setting with potential cross-institutional aeration of advanced paediatric cardiac programs.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from a recognized institution
- Board Certification (e.g., American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–10 years of post-fellowship experience in paediatric cardiac surgery
- Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes in high-volume centers
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an asset but not mandatory
- Prior experience in the GCC region is preferred
