Job Summary
Conduct outpatient and inpatient pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation services, including autologous and allogeneic transplants, immunotherapy, and long-term survivorship care. Manage increasing levels of independent patient care responsibility across clinical programs such as non-malignant transplantation and high-risk leukemia. Dedicate approximately 75% of the year to clinical activities while participating in research projects determined by mentors. Rotate through Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center clinical sites and the University of Washington School of Medicine to advance expertise in pediatric immunotherapy.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- board eligible/certified in General Pediatrics (or foreign equivalent)
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington by anticipated start date
- 12-month service period
- annual appointment
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy
- Completion of fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology (or foreign equivalent)
