Job Summary

Provide 1:1 play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children develop essential skills in communication, social interaction, and daily living. Implement BCBA-designed treatment plans using positive reinforcement and structured interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and create a supportive learning environment. Collect behavioral data to measure progress and adjust strategies, while collaborating with families to ensure consistency across home, school, and community settings. Report regularly to the supervising BCBA on progress and collaborate on optimal outcomes. Work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm at a clinic in North Sterling Heights. No driving or in-home visits required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening
  • Active & Engaged Work – Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and bending
  • Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50-75 lbs
  • Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions
  • Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents
  • Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm
  • No nights or weekends

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code
