Job Summary
Provide audiological assessment and management of hearing loss in pediatric patients. Independently conducts evaluations and interprets results, counsels patients and families, and develops management plans including amplification devices and cochlear implants when appropriate. Collaborates with physicians, allied health, and educational personnel; provides education and instruction to patients, families, and other healthcare providers. Supports administration tasks, participates in department quality improvement projects, maintains clinical equipment, and contributes to development of program goals. Requires ongoing professional knowledge through continuing education and compliance with departmental protocols; fluency in communicating results and options for rehabilitation and educational services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Audiology
- Audiology License (Pennsylvania)
- Board Certification in Audiology or CCC-A (within 3 months)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months
