Job Summary
Adolescent Medicine physician needed to join UNC Chapel Hill's Adolescent Medicine Section within GPAM. Focus on outpatient adolescent medicine care in Raleigh and/or Chapel Hill with inpatient consults as needed and potential expansion. Opportunities include care in youth detention centers, a youth psychiatric inpatient facility, collaboration with a Hematology-Adolescent Medicine clinic supporting reproductive health for patients with bleeding disorders, and partnership with the UNC Center for Excellence for Eating Disorders. Academic, research, and teaching opportunities exist, including medical student/resident teaching and involvement in broader adolescent health research and curriculum development.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of post-residency fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility in Adolescent Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina
