Job Summary
Adolescent Medicine physician to join the Adolescent Medicine Section within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill. Focus on outpatient adolescent medicine care in Raleigh and/or Chapel Hill with inpatient consults as needed. Opportunities include care in youth detention centers, a youth psychiatric inpatient facility, Hematology-Adolescent Medicine clinics supporting reproductive health and hematologic conditions, and collaboration with the UNC Center for Excellence for Eating Disorders. Faculty may participate in medical education, research, and teaching; opportunities exist for broader adolescent health research and cross-campus collaboration. Requires post-residency fellowship in Adolescent Medicine and board certification or eligibility; licensure in North Carolina; open-rank, fixed-term faculty appointment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of post-residency fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility in Adolescent Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina
