Job Summary
Learn to repair vehicle glass (in classroom and hands-on) focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance of experienced technicians. Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles. Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication via Safelite MRM. Promote and sell Safelite promotional items. Clean vehicle during wait time and perform housekeeping tasks in vehicle and shop. Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and chemicals; follow safety policies. This role is a pathway to full-time employment with Safelite and requires on-the-job training and SafeTech certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- SafeTech certification on-the-job training
- Must be 18 years of age or older
