PE/Wellness Teacher

Job Summary
The PE/Wellness Teacher will prepare and lead classes, submit lesson plans, conduct parent-teacher conferences, and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities include collaborating with other teachers, tracking student performance, and ensuring alignment of educational material. The teacher will also offer extracurricular activities, attend fundraising events, and participate in the Corporate Work Study Program. A Bachelor's degree with teacher certification is required, along with proficiency in MS Office and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum, in subject matter
- Teacher’s Certification
- Highly Qualified status preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with High School Classroom environment (or equivalent)
- Sensitivity to the ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds of the student body
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with Student Database systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
