PE Teacher @ Brookside Elementary

Under general supervision, plans, organizes, and presents instruction and instructional environments which help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Deliver instruction aligned to the North Carolina standards, utilize district-approved curriculum, and engage a diverse range of learners. Establishes classroom environments conducive to effective participation, communicates with parents, collaborates with other staff, and integrates technology (e.g., Smartboard). Requires data-based planning, PLC participation, and adherence to health/criminal background checks if offered employment. Fully understands PE’s role in the regular curriculum and supports student growth and learning outcomes.
