Job Summary
Deliver PE lessons and a broad curriculum of sports to primary school pupils across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, adapting schemes of work to meet individual needs. Assess and record pupil progress each term while carrying out risk assessments for sessions and equipment. Travel to various school sites using your own transport and coach on holiday camps during school breaks. Demonstrate professionalism when working with school staff and parents, ensuring you remain assertive, engaging, and respected by the children. This salaried role begins in September 2026 and requires an NGB Level 2 qualification, two years' experience, and full UK driving licence.
Required Qualifications
- NGB Level 2 Coaching qualification or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience working in a sports sector or school environment
- Good knowledge of at least three areas of the PE curriculum (Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, OAA)
- Experience creating and following lesson plans and assessing pupil performance
- GCSE Maths
- GCSE English
- First Aid training
- Child Protection training
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own transport
- Enhanced DBS check with children's barred list information
