Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care during home visits for medically complex pediatric clients, administering medications, performing trach care, and managing feeding tubes under RN supervision. Deliver individualized assessments, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the clinical team while completing accurate documentation. Educate families on treatment plans and assist with activities of daily living as required. This role offers autonomy in a nurse-led agency with flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to work with diverse pediatric populations including those with developmental and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida LPN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Prior home health experience
- Experience with Pediatrics, male and female
- Experience with Feeding tubes (G/J tubes)
- Experience with Developmental and neurological disorders
- Experience with Endocrine conditions and injections
- Experience with Tracheostomy care
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Solid documentation and communication skills
- Understanding of infection control, safety standards, and patient confidentiality
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with active insurance
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Recent statement of health including TB screening
- Ability to travel to assigned cases
- Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
