Job Summary
PdM Technician responsible for collecting vibration data and performing machinery diagnostics to support Predictive Maintenance programs. Duties include data collection, customer interaction, visual inspections, detailed notes, and use of required reliability hardware/software; maintaining clear communication with analysts and service managers on accounts; collaborating with customers and internal teams via phone, on-site meetings, troubleshooting, and opportunities for improvement. Operates hardware, tools, and service truck professionally and safely; maintains daily timekeeping and scheduling per requirements. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years in industrial mechanical/electrical/maintenance/reliability, experience with rotating equipment, ability to work independently, proficiency with Word/Excel/Acrobat, ability to work from home with high-speed internet, and an acceptable driving record. Preferred qualifications include experience with data collection equipment (Emerson, Bentley, SKF) and PdM technology certifications; ESOP culture and comprehensive benefits are noted as part of the employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and/or reliability
- Experience working with rotating equipment and/or mechanical aptitude in an industrial or shop environment
- Must be able to work independently
- Microsoft Word/Excel and Acrobat
- Must be able to work from home, and have a high-speed internet service
- Acceptable driving record, as determined by company insurance and MVR
