PDK Engineer

Job Summary
Develop, QA, maintain, and support Polar PDKs with infrastructure for multiple EDA platforms; build and maintain physical verification scripts (DRC/LVS, PEX, ERC); provide training and support to external customers; establish regression QA flows for PDK/EDA tools; create and maintain an issue logging database and provide customer engineering support; collaborate in a team environment across design enablement and verification workflows in a semiconductor manufacturing context.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Python, Tcl, SKILL, and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in writing Linux shell scripts, C/C++, PERL
- Experience in Windows and Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Team-oriented and adaptable to multiple roles
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Assura/PVS and Siemens Calibre tools is preferred
- Knowledge/experience in circuits, solid state, RF, materials science and/or semiconductor manufacturing process preferred
