Job Summary
Lead the engineering team responsible for fuel system design, integration, and validation across Mustang, Bronco, Ranger, and Explorer/Aviator vehicle lines. Serve as the technical authority for fuel tank, fuel delivery module, fuel lines, evaporative emissions, and refueling system components. Supervise design and release engineers while coordinating with cross-functional partners including Powertrain, Body Exterior, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality. Ensure fuel delivery systems meet Ford's standards for safety, durability, emissions compliance, and customer satisfaction across performance vehicles, off-road platforms, trucks, and SUVs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Fuel System Supervisor
- Technical skill in fuel system design
- Technical skill in fuel system integration
- Technical skill in fuel system validation
- Experience leading design and release engineers
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional partners including Powertrain, Body Exterior, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality
- Technical authority for fuel tank components
- Technical authority for fuel delivery module components
- Technical authority for fuel lines components
- Technical authority for evaporative emissions components
- Technical authority for refueling system components
- Knowledge of fuel delivery systems across performance vehicles, off-road platforms, trucks, and SUVs
- Understanding of safety standards for fuel delivery systems
- Understanding of durability standards for fuel delivery systems
