Provides bedside nursing care across pediatric through aging adult patients in a med-surg/PCU setting, including patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, IV management, discharge planning, and patient education; collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based care and adherence to standards. Requires Associates Degree in Nursing with Iowa RN licensure, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS; duties include monitoring vitals, wound care, catheter/IV procedures, medication administration, patient and family education, and participation in performance-improvement activities.
