PCU Resource Nurse

PCU Float Pool Nurse role in a Progressive Care unit. Provides patient-centered care coordinating with medical providers, including pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. Responsible for assessing patient condition, performing procedures as ordered, documenting care in the medical record, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses. Requires BCLS and CPR within 30 days of start. Education pathways include Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma.
