PCU Registered Nurse

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition during admission and shifts, performing procedures as ordered, documenting care in the medical record, administering prescribed medications, monitoring responses, and maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Licensure and active certifications in ACLS/BLS are required to practice as an RN in this role.
