PCU - Clinical Nurse (Part Time)

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for post-operative cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within established nursing standards. Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop and document individualized care plans, educate patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care, promote patient safety and regulatory compliance, and participate in ongoing professional development. Includes sign-on bonus eligibility and a focus on advancing career progression along the BJC RN Career Ladder; role is part-time with new grads encouraged to apply and potential to advance to higher ladder levels.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing
- BLS/CPR may be required per facility
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role
- New graduates welcome
- Certification preferences may include BSN as preferred
- Experience not required (No Experience listed)
