Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers patient-centered care under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN, assisting with activities of daily living, data collection (vital signs, intake/output, calories), meals and hygiene support, mobility assistance, urine/stool collection and blood glucose monitoring, and effective communication within the care team. Maintains infection control practices and PPE use, supports performance-improvement initiatives, and may provide continuous observation as needed. 0-2 years of acute care experience or nursing program enrollment preferred; BCLS required within 90 days of hire; CNA or CPCT certification preferred.
