Job Summary
Assist Registered Nurses in providing all aspects of direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the wellbeing of patients and assisting with activities of daily living. Adheres to hospital policies and accreditation standards. Roles includes support for medical-surgical patients with telemetry (PCT Med Surg Tele) duties as part of a day-shift, full-time team at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC. Requires current North Carolina CNA I or CNA II certification, BLS, NCI within 90 days, patient safety companion training within two weeks of hire with yearly CBL certification; CNA I to advance to CNA I+4 within 6 months. No experience required.
Required Qualifications
- CNA I or CNA II certification (Current North Carolina CNA I or CNA II certification)
- BLS upon hire
- NCI within 90 days
- Patient safety companion course within two weeks of hire and yearly CBL certification
- CNA I will attend CNA I +4 within 6 months of hire
- Education/Certifications: BLS; CNA I or CNA II; NCI; patient safety companion; CBL
