Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (Med/Onc) at Edward Hospital/Naperville, IL on the night shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am) performing patient care tasks under RN supervision to support care, comfort and safety; requires CPR certification and nursing assistant training or related experience, with emphasis on teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions; benefits include shift incentives, career growth opportunities, and comprehensive health/dental/vision plans. The role is full-time with a 36-hour weekly schedule and rotating holidays/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
- Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department
