Job Summary
PCT/CNA in ambulatory cardiology clinic performing basic patient care services under supervision. Responsibilities include measuring height, weight, blood pressure; visual acuity and color vision screening; drug screens; point-of-care urinalysis; reception/clerical tasks; preparing treatment areas and equipment; disposing of biomedical waste; maintaining patient care areas; monitoring stock levels and restocking medical inventory; working patient registries to identify opportunities to improve patient care; requires self-motivation and ability to work well with a team; qualifications include high school graduate or GED preferred, with six months’ clinic experience preferred; CNA preferred; BLS required (ND: must be registered as a Nursing Assistant if not a CNA within four months)
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required
- Minimum six months’ experience preferred
- Experience in a clinic setting preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within first 60 days
- If in North Dakota and not a CNA, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant within four months
