Job Summary
Coordinate daily patient care activities including hygiene, skin care, mobility, and monitoring. Perform technical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection. Administer treatments and procedures per policy, including dressing changes, enemas, and post-mortem care. Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and drainage patterns, reporting deviations immediately. Assist with patient elimination needs, specimen labeling, and physician examinations. Provide one-to-one patient observation and respond effectively to emergency situations. Communicate respectfully with patients and team members while maintaining patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of patient care experience
- GED or HiSET
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Certified Nurse Aide
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and writing in English
- Able to maintain professional composure in medium to high-stress situations
- Effective communication skills
