Job Summary
PCoE Support Engineer responsible for Level 2 platform support across enterprise infrastructure services (Cloud, virtualization, servers, databases, backups, monitoring) in a 24x5 environment. Provide incident resolution, routine maintenance, change execution, and service improvement; monitor health, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, maintain documentation, and participate in major incidents and problem management. Requires hands-on expertise across Azure, OCI, VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Citrix CVAD, Azure Virtual Desktop, Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux), Oracle Database/EBS, Commvault/Metallic backups, monitoring tools, SSL/TLS lifecycle, ITSM (ServiceNow), and strong incident/change management capabilities; shift-based with day/evening/night and weekend coverage. Location: Bucharest, Romania.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Platform Support, Cloud Operations, or Enterprise IT Support environments
- Experience working within a shift-based or 24x5 support model
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, OCI, VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Citrix CVAD, Azure Virtual Desktop, Linux (RHEL and Oracle Linux), Oracle Database and EBS, Commvault and Metallic backups, monitoring and event management tools, SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent)
- Experience with incident investigation, troubleshooting, change coordination and vendor coordination
- Ability to operate in a 24x5 shift environment with day/evening/night and weekend/holiday coverage
- Experience with backup monitoring, restoration testing, and compliance validation
- Ability to follow runbooks and operational procedures
