PCI Engineer

Job Summary
Investigate and resolve customer incidents on the PCI platform, analysing PCAPs with tools like Wireshark to troubleshoot SIP, VoIP, and media-related issues. Configure and onboard new customer environments while supporting Linux systems and performing routine platform maintenance. Work with customers, carriers, and technology partners to resolve faults, assist with datacentre deployments and hardware maintenance, and participate in out-of-hours support and planned maintenance activities. This hands-on role supports the specialist team delivering secure communications and PCI compliance solutions across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with SIP and VoIP technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience capturing and analysing packet traces
- Good understanding of IP networking
- Linux administration experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications
- Juniper networking experience
- Knowledge of SBCs, RTP, and hosted voice platforms
- Datacentre experience
- Exposure to virtualisation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience within telecoms, MSP, or service provider environments
