Job Summary
PCBA Technician role at Astranis; rework, assemble, and debug PCBAs; inspect incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards; apply conformal coating and adhesives; lead form components to match footprints; collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on new developments; work on both R&D and production systems; onsite five days per week; compensation includes base pay and equity; located in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace, automotive, or related industries
- Electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components)
- Wire crimping and harness assembly
- Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches) for enclosure assembly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Onsite 5 days a week
- Bonus qualifications: J-STD-001 certification; experience in clean room; Altium experience; EE bench test equipment experience; advanced soldering/rework (BGA)
