Job Summary
As a PCBA Test Engineer at MKS, you will design, develop, and support automated PCB assembly test systems for high‐volume production. This role involves developing automated test applications, troubleshooting UUT failures, and analyzing test data to improve product quality. A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required, along with 2+ years of relevant experience, particularly with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience developing PCBA functional test programs (hardware and software)
- Experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand
- Ability to read electrical schematics and create wiring diagrams
- Hands‐on experience with laboratory test equipment
- Experience writing and reviewing test specifications and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with low‐noise analog and high‐speed digital PCB designs
- Exposure to DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles
- Experience analyzing test data using statistical tools such as Minitab
- Vendor management or external design partner coordination experience
