Job Summary
Receive and count all Printed Circuit Boards, place them in correct locations, and file appropriate paperwork to maintain inventory accuracy. Program and test all PCBs, troubleshoot bad boards, and approve new software versions. Provide production and the Service Department with necessary components and spare parts while ensuring proper components are functional and issued for jobs. Participate in cycle counting activities and keep the Board Room clean and organized. Comply with Company health, safety, and environmental policies. Work 3:30pm-12:00am core hours with overtime opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associates Degree in Electronics (2-year degree) or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year experience developing knowledge of electronics, circuit boards, soldering experience, and organization skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future
- All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Richmond, VA location
- Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Must be able to manage inventory by computer access
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Individual may be required lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Completed welding, brazing, or soldering certificate
- Experience in manufacturing, production, packaging or construction, or equivalent education
- Previous experience with standard operating procedures
- Previous experience with electrical product assembly, maintenance and/or repair
- Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
