Job Summary
As a PCB Layout Engineer at Etched, you will design and optimize printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Cadence Allegro PCB design tools, focusing on high-speed signaling including 100G applications and power distribution. Responsibilities include developing power distribution networks, managing complex HDI PCB stack-ups, and collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineering teams. A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in high-speed design principles, are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in PCB layout design with a focus on high-speed signaling, power distribution, and HDI stack-ups for high-performance data center products.
- Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of high-speed digital design principles, including signal integrity and impedance control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degrees or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with complex HDI PCB design and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of power distribution network design and thermal management techniques for data center applications.
