Job Summary
PCB Designer responsible for designing and supporting printed circuit boards from concept through production; design and review PCB layouts and schematics to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements; support high-speed, high current, analogue, and mixed-signal PCB designs; collaborate with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration; ensure designs meet signal integrity, EMC, safety, and reliability requirements; support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution; liaise with manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure producibility and cost efficiency; maintain design documentation, standards, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or industry experience equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of ECAD tools and best hi-speed design practice
- Experience of Siemens EDA Xpedition tool set including Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink and Library Manager
- Detailed knowledge on PCB Design cycle, Design for Testing / Fabrication & PCB Assembly
- Experience of multi-layer, sequential & HDI technology
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong logical approach to problem solving
- Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
