Job Summary
Design digital, analog, and mixed-signal PCBs for sensing, control, communication, data acquisition, and instrumentation systems. Own the hardware lifecycle from architecture and schematic through layout, fabrication, bring-up, and validation. Develop interfaces for sensors, actuators, processors, and communication buses while performing circuit analysis, simulation, and design reviews. Lead board debugging, characterization, and failure analysis, and create test fixtures for rapid hardware development. Maintain schematics, layouts, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Collaborate with embedded and mechanical engineers to define hardware–firmware interfaces and work with fabrication partners to transition designs from prototype to production.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in PCB design and hardware development
- Strong fundamentals in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Proficiency with Altium, KiCad, or equivalent PCB design tools
- Experience with multilayer PCB design, signal/power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC
- Hands-on experience with component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware bring-up
- Comfortable debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/programmers, power supplies, and other lab equipment
- Strong understanding of common communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, Ethernet, or equivalent
- Comfortable working directly with prototypes, soldering, test benches, and rapid hardware iterations

- Experience designing electronics for aerospace, automotive, robotics, industrial, or other high-performance systems
