PCB DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Summary
Develop PCB layouts, perform component placements, and determine wire routing while verifying existing designs and recommending improvements. Create design documentation, requirements specifications, and PCB models, then prepare test specifications, procedures, and fixtures to validate concepts using circuit simulations. Analyze test results, propose process improvements for functionality and reliability, and update project schedules, budgets, and risks. Monitor project status, attend meetings to discuss progress, and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations. Apply strong knowledge of RF, analog layouts, and CAD tools like Altium or AutoCAD to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Good understanding of electronic components
- Strong knowledge of PCBs
- Experience working with CAD software such as Altium, AutoCAD, OrCAD or PADS
- Knowledge of RF and analog layouts
- Clear understanding of PCB layer stack up
- Knowledge of common PCB design rules
- Experience working with and designing engineering drawings
- Ability to maintain and create libraries
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Proficient in BOM
- Experience in Configuration Management
- Strong learning drive
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to utilize the right tools at the right time
