Job Summary

Provide direct and indirect patient care in Perioperative Services, including preparation of operating rooms, sterile techniques, and operative skin preps. Transport patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining peripheral corridors and safety standards. Assist with patient admission, discharge, nutrition, ambulation, and vital signs monitoring across the OR, SACU, and PACU areas. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing compressed gas cylinders and changing patient positions. Work Monday through Friday from 6am to 8am in a flexible day shift rotation.

Required Qualifications

  • Equivalent to high school education
  • PCA or EMT certification
  • Knowledge of basic Nursing Procedures
  • Current BLS
  • One year of nursing procedure experience
  • Knowledge of equipment and supplies related to perioperative care of patients
  • Ability to take direction, set priorities, and organize work assignments
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
  • Must be able to remain calm when under stress or in emergency situations

  • Prior OR experience
