Job Summary
Provide non-medical in-home care to clients under RN supervision; assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, mobility, feeding, and hydration. Support transfers, positioning, and ambulation as directed by the RN; perform light housekeeping, meal preparation per dietary guidelines, and companionship to enhance well-being. Observe and report changes to the supervising nurse; document care and client observations in daily visit notes; maintain HIPAA confidentiality; commute to client homes as needed. Requires ability to drive 50–100 miles per day, pass competency requirements, and demonstrate empathy, reliability, and effective communication with clients, families, and care team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance
- Must have reliable transportation without needing the assistance of another person and/or company to provide the transportation
