Job Summary
Assist residents with daily routines, socialization, and activities while building bonds through companionship. Show patience, compassion, and empathy in every engagement with residents and their families. Organize residents' days to help them enjoy themselves and live their lives to the fullest. Perform physical tasks required in this role while communicating effectively and reporting changes accurately. Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available with pay starting at $16.25/hour. Join a family-owned company serving seniors for over 30 years.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes
- Compassion and patience in all personal interactions
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
