Job Summary
PCA/CNA role in an Assisted Living community (Spring Arbor Senior Living, Athens, TN) with Full Time 2nd shift and PRN opportunities. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, incontinence care), maintaining resident service plans and documentation, coordinating with Resident Services staff to ensure continuity of care, promoting a safe environment, and supporting neighborhood programming. Requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of health-care experience, dementia training, and a clean criminal background. CPR/first aid certification preferred; CNA or NA licensure/certification may be required by state. Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required
- In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
- The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state
- May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus
