Job Summary
Provide routine daily services to Assisted Living Residence residents, including assisting with toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Conduct resident rounds, monitor medication administration, and perform basic nursing services as assigned. Document care provided and resident responses, report changes in condition or unusual incidents to the supervisor, and participate in staff meetings and health services plan conferences. Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with lifting, transferring, and evacuation of residents. Complete housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities as scheduled. Work 11pm to 7am shifts every other weekend starting July 25, 2026, as a part-time position. Requires current Certified Nursing Assistant certification and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant for long-term care by the New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds
- Current Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- Ability to speak read and write English

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a geriatric long-term care facility
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility
- High School Diploma
