Job Summary
Experienced Caregivers & Personal Care Aides provide essential in-home support to help clients stay safely at home. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, performing light housekeeping and meal preparation, providing transportation for appointments, monitoring health status, and escalating concerns as needed. CNA or HHA certification is preferred; positions offer flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time, per-diem, and seasonal opportunities in Florence, SC, with benefits including competitive wages, 401(k), paid time off, ongoing training, and clinical supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Home Health Aide and/or CNA certification preferred
- For positions that involve driving for client (i.e. errands/Dr. appointments): Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation and proof of vehicle registration and insurance are required
- Minimum one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred
- Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds; able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
- Successful results of background check, and where applicable, additional state-specific regulatory requirements
