Job Summary
Provide high-quality direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, including activities of daily living, telemetry monitor setup, blood glucose monitoring, oxygen setup, Foley removal, and external urinary catheter management. May provide clerical support to the care team and act as a liaison facilitating communication with or between other care providers and visitors; collaborates with RN and care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Supervised by a Patient Care Coordinator/Registered Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager with indirect supervision by the Nurse Manager or Director. Part-time daytime shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), two shifts per week, at Chillicothe 4W. Roles may also involve teamwork with the care team and student nurse/unit secretary duties as needed.
