Job Summary
PC Support Specialist provides hardware- and software-focused IT support for library staff, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, imaging/configuring/upgrading PCs and mobile devices, and supporting VPNs, print management, self-check-out devices, and payment systems. The role includes help desk duties, inventory management, and ensuring alignment with the library’s mission and DEI commitments. Candidates should have knowledge of hardware/software, strong customer service, ability to troubleshoot IT problems, work independently or with colleagues, and familiarity with technology used by library staff. Two or more years of relevant experience and network experience with A+ certification are preferred. The position is based in Cincinnati, OH, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. The role entails evenings and weekends as part of full-time hours.
