Job Summary
Support housekeeping, activity, and bathing needs of residents daily as a PRN Personal Care Resident Aide. Maintain a drug and alcohol-free status and successfully complete the Direct Care Staff Person Training Course and Competency Test prior to employment. Adhere to all Older Adult Protective Services Act requirements and pass required criminal background checks via the PA State Police system. Maintain physical ability to perform position requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. This role is part of United Zion's 117-year legacy of serving seniors in a small, team-oriented community where staff know residents and team members by name.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma/equivalency
- active certification as a nurse aide in Pennsylvania
- two (2) years of experience in a similar role
- specialized training
- Completion of, or ability to successfully complete Direct Care Staff Person Training Course and Competency Test prior to acceptance of employment
- Meet all requirements of the Older Adult Protective Services Act (OAPSA)
- Required criminal history background checks
- drug and alcohol free
- Physically able to perform the physical position requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
