Job Summary
Create and manage tickets for support incidents, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation. Perform workstation relocation and equipment configuration between campus buildings to resume operations with minimal disruption. Provide basic diagnostics, isolate problems using historical records, and resolve technical queries for internal and external customers. Utilize Active Directory tools for account creation, unlocking, and password resets while adhering to security policies. Maintain accurate inventory records in the asset tracking system for all hardware assets and assist with security paperwork for classified data incidents. Work on-site full-time in Roy, UT, lifting equipment up to 50 pounds. Requires a Secret clearance and ability to obtain a Security+ certification within six months.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret (at a minimum) security clearance within a reasonable amount of time following hire
- Meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a PC Network Support Tech – IAT level 2 (Security +) within 6 months of hire date
- Ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment

- Associate's degree and 0 years of relevant experience
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suites
- Knowledge of remote deployment methods
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1 years of experience with IT related hardware in a classified environment
- Active Secret, Top Secret, SCI, SAP/SAR access
- Security+ CE certification
- Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs
- Familiarity with Active Directory, creating user and computer accounts
- Operating System Cross-platform awareness ((i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
- Knowledge of supporting a VMWare VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA)
