Job Summary
PC/Mac Desktop Support Specialist with 2+ years in customer service to support Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android) for local and remote customers. Responsibilities include desktop/hardware/software support, imaging and provisioning of government-furnished equipment, printer and VoIP setup, network troubleshooting, and assisting with Microsoft 365/Office 365 and Teams. Requires ability to obtain a public trust clearance; location is Rockville, MD with remote support capabilities and potential international travel for travel-ready devices. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, encryption practices, and enterprise network infrastructure; experience with imaging, re-imaging, and deploying hardware,, plus remote ticket/documentation management and customer-facing communications.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1 to 3 years exp. with Windows 10
- 1 to 3 years exp. with Macintosh operating systems
- 1 to 3 years exp. with Network and re-imaging workstations
- PC/Windows, Macintosh, iOS and Android, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams support
- Knowledge of Windows Firewall and related settings
- Experience with full disk encryption on both Windows and Macintosh computers
- Knowledge of an enterprise network infrastructure, including Active Directory and Group Policies
- Provide remote customer support via multiple methods
- Highschool Diploma or Higher
- Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance
