Job Summary
Armed Security Officer responsible for protecting critical facilities and infrastructure in a highly trained security team. The role includes firearms handling and marksmanship training by qualified instructors, maintaining security presence in assigned posts, and ensuring client assets and personnel are safeguarded. Requirements include 3+ years as a peace officer, POST or equivalent academy certification, California State Guard card, Exposed Firearm Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, Baton certification, English proficiency, and passing drug/background checks. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of prior peace officer experience from a Federal, state, county, or local law enforcement agency
- Completion of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) academy or completion of a Federal/state/local law enforcement training academy with verifiable certificate or transcript
- Valid California State Guard card
- Exposed Firearm Permit
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Baton certification
- Able to read, write, and converse clearly in English
- Satisfactory completion of initial drug test and criminal background check
