Job Summary
Answer all incoming internal and external calls with a warm greeting, managing wake-up calls, message delivery, and guest requests. Liaise with hotel departments to ensure follow-up on guest needs while selecting and blocking rooms using the computer system. Quote room and rate availability, promote brand marketing programs, and coordinate efficiently with the Bell stand and housekeeping. Handle emergency requests calmly, including police dispatch and fire alerts, while maintaining a safe environment for guests and co-workers. Complete brand required training and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and in writing communication skills
- Ability to work with computers
- Ability to perform accurate arithmetic functions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
- Must have good near and far vision
- Must be able to hear, talk, smell
- Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations, maintaining a positive attitude
- Must complete brand required training
