Job Summary
Handles incoming/outgoing hotel calls and acts as a front-desk support for guest inquiries, room reservations, and services. Manages switchboard, transfers calls to appropriate departments, transmits messages, assists with guest needs, mails/faxes/packages delivery, and responds to guest complaints within authority. Maintains safety procedures, PPE usage per OSHA guidelines, and reports safety issues. Supports wake-up calls, guest communications, and service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction. Requires basic math, proficiency with hotel tech (Opera, Excel, Word), and excellent verbal and written communication. Works varying schedules including holidays and weekends; maintains professional appearance and demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- Guest service or customer service experience desired.
- Ability to use telephone and computer systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and use Opera or similar hotel management systems.
