Job Summary
Oversee and implement VytlOne's underwriting strategy for PBM opportunities by driving the full underwriting process for traditional and pass-through RFPs. Gather, assess, and evaluate quantitative elements including claims files, underwriting models, and P&Ls for new and renewal clients while collaborating with pricing, sales, and finance teams. Monitor competitors and industry trends to streamline processes, provide financial support for contract negotiations, and develop ad-hoc reports and financial models. Communicate underwriting scenarios to internal stakeholders and assist leadership in presenting strategies. Complete required training and comply with ethical business conduct policies. This remote-based role within the Continental US requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and three years of complex financial analysis experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Three + years' experience completing complex analytical, financial analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Basic SQL proficiency utilizing functions, statements such as SELECT, CASE, or JOIN, and conditional operators
- Ability to analyze data specific to client opportunity, consider context of company strategies and offer actionable underwriting recommendations
- Experience reviewing, analyzing and assessing complex and unstructured data
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Contribute productively and work cohesively with cross-functional teams in operations, sales, account management and finance in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with presentation experience in front of leadership
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects, as well as, strong follow through skills
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
