PB Floor Lead - Picking - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Conduct daily warehouse operations by performing picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while providing direct guidance to team members. Serve as the primary floor point of contact during Supervisor absences, monitoring workflow to meet production and shipping goals. Ensure adherence to safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards using WMS and handheld scanners to track inventory. Assist with employee training, onboarding, and coaching, while identifying operational bottlenecks to implement process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and check equipment for proper operation. Report maintenance needs and escalate complex employee concerns as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and safety practices
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
