Job Summary

Fabricate raw material blocks, plywood bases, and wood boxed structures for CNC machines operating spray equipment by applying fiberglass chop and barrier coats. Layout, cut, and bond foam to platforms and carts, then strip and prepare surfaces for reuse after mold production. Manage platforms and cart inventory while conducting daily routine maintenance of table saws, band saws, and other woodworking tools. Maintain all areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe in compliance with ISPC processes and environmental standards. Perform operations using TDC mold fabrication approved methods, ensuring adherence to procedures and schedule milestones. Work in a dusty environment with frequent standing and lifting, supporting continuous improvement and team accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Must fabricate raw material blocks to drawings provided or verbal direction from the supervisor
  • Must fabricate plywood bases
  • Must manage platforms and cart inventory
  • Must layout, cut and bond foam to platforms and carts for both machines
  • Must construct wood boxed structures as filler for foam block-up
  • Must deck platforms and carts with plywood as substrate to bond foam blocks
  • Must strip platforms after mold production and prepare for reuse
  • Must ensure all operations are performed safely
  • Must maintain all areas and equipment clean neat and organized, at all times
  • Must conduct daily routine maintenance of equipment
  • Must store all materials safely at the end of the day
  • Must conduct operations using TDC mold fabrication approved processes (ISPC)
  • Must have safe operation of table saws, band saws, sanders, planers etc.
  • Must have Chop gun and barrier gun (Spraycore)
  • Must have Use of typical woodworking hand tools
  • Must have Understanding of adhesive systems and their use
  • Must have Reading fabrication drawings
  • Must have General knowledge and understanding of required power tools
