Job Summary
Manage and develop a small payroll team by motivating, coaching, and tracking daily tasks through regular meetings and one-on-ones. Execute hands-on payroll operations including accurate wage processing, personnel data management, and strict monitoring of time records and reimbursements. Optimize payroll systems while ensuring compliance with social legislation, tax obligations, and GDPR by liaising with auditors and government bodies. This operational leadership role combines people management with direct involvement in payroll activities within an international retail organization.
Required Qualifications
- several years of experience within payroll and social legislation
- experience in leading, coaching or supporting a team
- strong people management skills combined with a hands-on mentality
- comfort in an operational environment where you actively participate yourself
- meticulous, structured work style with attention to detail
- stress resistance and ability to prioritize in a dynamic retail environment
- experience with SAP HR, timesheet systems or payroll software
- knowledge of the Dutch language
- knowledge of the English language
- knowledge of the French language (ideally)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
